Bio: Chi-Ling Lin (Traditional Chinese: 林志玲; pinyin: Lín Zhìlíng born on November 29, 1974, in Taipei, Taiwan), is one of the Taiwan's top supermodels in terms of popularity and pay; in 2004, she earned nearly $1,000,000 (USD) from endorsement deals.[citation needed] She has become the official spokesperson for China Airlines appearing in their commercials and calendars. Her father and grandfather are strong supporters of the Taiwan independence.[citation needed] Ironically, she also does modeling events and promotions in Mainland China, despite her relatives' views. Chiling has been rumored to be the girlfriend of Jerry Yan of F4 (band).
